Overview

Castleton Commodities International, a leading Global Merchant Commodity Trading and Investment firm is hiring a Recruiting/HR Coordinator to work directly with the Sr. Talent Partner to support recruiting and sourcing efforts across Europe and Asia as well as the Sr. HR Business Partner on a variety of HR Generalist activities for Europe. Ideal candidates would have prior experience in Human Resources, be highly organized, have the ability to multi-task possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as an acute attention to detail.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior experience in a Recruiting Coordinator role to also gain direct sourcing/recruiting experience both for lateral and campus positions as well as overall HR Generalist exposure.

Responsibilities

Recruiting Coordination/Candidate Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruiting process for both lateral and campus candidates including heavy interview scheduling
  • Input job postings into applicant tracking system (icims), and various other job sites.
  • Solicit and record interviewer feedback on candidates.
  • Organize and maintain candidate applications
  • Process candidate expense reimbursements.
  • Coordinate orientation for new hires.
  • Process new hire background checks.
  • Input new hires into HRIS system (Workday) and process new hire paperwork.

Recruiting:

  • Manage the recruiting process for temporary and administrative positions.
  • Drive the marketing/branding of CCI positions using direct sourcing techniques and building of candidate network.
  • Manage relationships with a variety of contingency search firms
  • Network with various Colleges and Universities to market CCI positions to alumni.
  • Assist with the creation of market maps and building talent pools loading information into CRM.

HR Generalist:

  • Working with outside relocation provider, manage employee relocation process.
  • Manage immigration process for new hires and exisiting staff.
  • Manage monthly payroll audit.
  • Support HR Business Partner in employee relations issues, employee separations process, and the organization of learning & development programs.
  • Serve as advisor to employees on a wide range of HR inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Some experience in an HR role ideally within financial services.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Team player
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience working with HRIS and ATS are preferred.
