Castleton Commodities International is searching for a Compliance Analyst/Associate to support all Compliance functions for the European operations of a global commodity merchant.
Conduct risk management activities to support the Compliance program in the following areas:
- Information barriers
- Gifts meals and entertainment
- Anti-bribery & corruption
- Anti-money laundering and international sanctions compliance
- Position limits
Support implementation and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and programs impacted by global regulatory regimes, including: MiFID II, FinfraG, REMIT and REACH
Assist in the preparation and communication of training material, policies and procedures.
Data mining, retrieval and investigation to support Compliance activities.
Assist with and prepare responses to regulatory inquiries and requests.
Provide support to trading and operational personnel regarding physical and financial trading activities.
Prepare compliance reports.
Maintain necessary books and records.
Candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a compliance related function in a trading or financial entity. Experience in a commodities-related business is preferred.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
German or French language ability preferred
