Overview

Experienced hands on cyber security expert, responsible for protecting the firm’s technology, networks and data against threats, such as security breaches, computer viruses or attacks by cyber-criminals, globally. Thrive in a fast paced, global enterprise leading the identification, gap analysis, implementation of the technology portfolio required to support the firm’s cyber security strategy.

 

Responsibilities

  • Strong background in information technology with a clear understanding of the challenges of cyber security threats and solutions.
  • Coordinate all incident response activities globally.
  • Evaluate existing security tools, propose solutions and implement into production.
  • Advocate understanding and awareness of security issues throughout the organization by utilizing excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for incident response management and those that enforce secure working parameters and protect data throughout the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to be proactive and identify, prevent and resolve security risks.
  • Work closely with other groups within the global Technology organization to develop stronger partnerships required to meet Cybersecurity technology goals.
  • Develop and manage a budget, ensuring commercial accountability for technology purchases, vendor services and relationships to ensure optimal value.

Qualifications

  • University degree in computer science or Cyber Security and 5 years equivalent work experience.
  • CISSP certification (and/or equivalent Information and Cyber Security).
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives and a working knowledge of delivering strategies that are implemented across a global organization.
  • Passion, knowledge and a strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and experience in protecting networks, systems and data from cyberattacks.
  • At a minimum, knowledge and best practices for IDS, IPS, Firewall and endpoint security.
  • Ability to thrive in a fluid and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with SCADA networks a plus.
