  • Overview

    Castleton Commodities International, LLC is hiring a Finance Associate to work in the Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting group based in the Stamford, CT office. This group is responsible for internal management reporting and analysis, reporting to shareholders, BOD presentations, the annual budget process, and bank reporting.  This is a great opportunity to get exposure to different areas of the business as well as senior management.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, executive packages, shareholder reports, and BOD presentations
    • Support continuous improvement of current budgeting, forecasting and planning process and deliverables
    • Assist in the development of dashboards, measurement tools and KPI’s
    • Monitor performance, highlight trends and analyze drivers of variances
    • Prepare/support ad hoc reports and analysis
    • Active participation in special projects

    Qualifications

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree
    • 2+ years of experience creating financial reports and analyzing the results to provide strategic guidance and sound business decision support to management
    • Proven acumen in leveraging Excel on an expert basis
    • Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and part of a team
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills
    • Results oriented, strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task

    Preferred Experience

    • Knowledge of financial reporting systems such as BPC, Hyperion, TM1
    • Experience with SAP is preferred
    • Familiarity with metric based expense allocation methodologies
