Internship Overview: This is a full time internship (late May – August 2018) working with our Natural Gas Scheduling team in Houston. Throughout the internship there will be regular interaction with other members of the scheduling and trading teams. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the North American Natural Gas markets and join a best in class commodity merchant. There is the potential for this to evolve into a full time position post-graduation.
Under general supervision, independently performs skilled mechanical work in the maintenance of electric power generators and associated equipment at INGENCO’S power production facilities. Assists Maintenance Supervisor in troubleshooting and performing mechanical duties on diesel driven electrical power generators and associated equipment. Identifies parts required to complete a job. Uses the manufactures’ manuals, conducts preventive and corrective engine maintenance, and conducts engine overhauls.
This is a Journeyman Mechanic level classification in the Power Plant Mechanic Advancement Program. The incumbent performs mechanical work in electric power generating equipment on an assigned basis. The incumbent has the ability to independently rebuild diesel engines by the procedures approved by Ingenco.
The candidate will join the Agricultural Commodity trading desk as an analyst working with the lead trader to develop quantitative models. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has the ability to work under pressure in a fast moving environment. The candidate must have a strong mathematical, statistical and programming skills and an interest to develop a career in the Commodity industry. We will consider candidates with a graduation year of 2015-2017.
Castleton Commodities International is hiring a Head of Reporting and Technical Accounting for our Stamford, CT office. This will be part of the Controllers Group and will liaise closely with Treasury, Financial Accounting and Product Control functions.
Controllers ensure that CCI meets all of its necessary financial control and internal and external reporting obligations. In the Controllers Department, our professionals measure the profitability of, and risks associated with various aspects of the firm’s business.
CCI’s Controllers Group combines technical, accounting and product knowledge to (i) provide collaborative advice, (ii) help analyze financial data and report facts, and (iii) maintain and implement controls which protect the firm’s assets and helped sustain its reputation.
The Electrical Manager is responsible to oversee the install, commission, and maintenance of electrical power generation systems. Electrical Manager is also responsible for oversight of the facility electrical infrastructure, the oversight of electrical fabrication, and quality control inspections. Duties also include, but are not limited to, supporting construction of new facilities by providing/offering technical support and managing work center personnel.
Under indirect supervision, the incumbent will provide skilled Electrician work and major overhaul of diesel engines, electric power generators, and associated equipment at various power production facilities. This position is considered skilled at a journeyman Electrician level. Must have completed formal electrician apprenticeship training.
